2010 – 35 students, Led students from the Omega Delta Psi professional fraternity to the North American Folk Alliance Conference. The students interned with the live sound and business operations staff. They also produced 4 nights of concerts in their guerrilla showcase room. Provided a $250 scholarship (The Charlie Dahan Get Your Butts To Memphis Scholarship) to the organization to help defray their travel expenses.
2009 – 25 students, Led students from the Omega Delta Psi professional fraternity to the North American Folk Alliance Conference. 2010 – 1 student, During the Spring 2010 semester, Katie Word will be learning about the
Direct to Consumer space in music using software such as Topspin and
Bandcamp. She will be learning how to develop a Direct to Consumer campaign
leveraging social media, permission marketing, tour development and Search
Engine Optimization.
