Music City Networks is a web company that builds and maintains the online presence of major recording artists. Founded in 2001, MCN is centered in Nashville, and they offer a wide variety of services for their clients, including site creation and management, social networking, ticketing and merchandising.

Since its founding in 2001, MCN has worked with some of the biggest names in entertainment. They are currently doing projects for large clients such as Lady Antebellum, Michael Franti and Brad Paisley, while also working with smaller acts like Josh Turner, Montgomery Gentry and Eric Church. Some of their previous clients have included Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts, Capitol Records and Sony Music.

Music City Networks specializes in creating custom web pages for their clients. They build professional sites, which become a driving force for each client’s fan base. The sites focus on interaction with fans, offering free and paid memberships, as well as community forums. Fans can get involved as little or as much as they want – by either signing up for free memberships to post their photos and videos, all the way up to buying fan club memberships to request Meet and Greet passes and buy pre-sale tickets through Ticketmaster.

MCN makes it easy for users to contribute their own content online. Fans can easily post their own photos and videos to their favorite artists’ sites, and many of the sites have sections on their front page to feature these fan photos, videos and even member profiles. All of this is a great way to give the fans a true sense of belonging and connection to their favorite artists, which only strengthens fan bases.

When it comes to fan engagement, MCN doesn’t stop at artist websites. They are fully integrated on Facebook and Twitter, bringing fans the most up-to-date news and information from their favorite artists, from upcoming releases and tours to press and TV appearances.

MCN’s websites are an efficient, one-stop-shop for users. They can buy digital music and video files, as well as official merchandise, directly from the site stores. Digital products are sent directly to the users for download, and merchandise items are packaged and shipped by MerchMo. The online ordering system offers a range of features; including order tracking and custom catalog design, making the sales process seamless for both client and consumer.

Another area of MCN’s services is in ticketing and Meet and Greet passes. They make it easy for fans to get the most out of every concert, helping them with everything from buying tickets to ordering and downloading their Meet and Greet photos after the show. Once joining fan clubs, members can order pre-sale tickets, which they can pick up at the venue on the day of the show. The same process is used for Meet and Greet passes. Afterwards, the fans can go back to the artist’s site to see their photos from the Meet and Greet. Again, this is a great way to engage the audience, and keep them coming back for more.
